Voice of the Child Assessments
Voice of the child assessments involve a neutral third party interviewing children to determine their wishes and interests when their parents are separating. A report is developed expressing their feelings to assist parents, lawyers and courts determine custody and access that is in the best interest of the children.
Assessments are often court ordered but at times parents seek an assessment on their own to determine how their children are feeling.
Separation and divorce are adult concerns and children should be kept separate from that conflict as much as possible.
